If you're on a budget:
- Kids' Cup (15,000€) — cheapest, decent visitor boost
- Cross-Country Marathon (30,000€) — good ratio of visitors to cost
- Slalom Race (25,000€) — quick one-day event
If you want maximum impact:
- Winter Festival (150,000€) — 2,000 visitors and 500 reputation over 3 days
- Downhill Championship (80,000€) — 1,200 visitors, high prestige
- Host tournaments during good weather for maximum visitor turnout
- Avoid scheduling during blizzards — visitors won't come regardless
- Space tournaments out — one per week is sustainable for most resorts
- Make sure you have enough hotel rooms and restaurants for the extra visitors
- The visitor boost from tournaments stacks with marketing campaigns
- Winter Festival is expensive but the reputation gain is massive
- Don't host tournaments if you can't handle the visitors — overcrowding hurts satisfaction
- Night Races are great if you already have lighting installed
- Cancel upcoming tournaments if you're running low on cash — better to lose the hosting fee than go bankrupt from the extra operational costs
